Smart third-generation chip with the ability to set the speed limit of the e-bike
The SpeedBox 3.2 tuning chip allows you to freely adjust the speed limiter of your e-bike. After installing the chip, the e-bike display shows real data such as maximum speed, average speed, daily distance traveled or range.
How does SpeedBox 3.2 work?
You activate the SpeedBox 3.2 chip on the e-bike display. After pressing the LIGHT or ^ˇ^ˇ button, the display will briefly show 99 km/h (62 mph) and from that moment on you can ride at unlimited speed.
To turn off the chip function, press the LIGHT or ^ˇ^ˇ button again. The display will show 25 km/h (16 mph) and the 25 km/h speed limit will be enabled again. The e-bike will then function as before the chip was installed.
If you want to control your SpeedBox and lights separately, use the arrow combination ^ˇ^ˇ and the SpeedBox will be activated. You can then easily deactivate the SpeedBox in the same way. By pressing the arrows in this order, you can activate and deactivate the SpeedBox at any time, independently of the light control.
You can set the maximum assistance speed by switching the modes three levels down and then three levels up. The current speed limit will then be displayed on the display. You can switch the maximum assistance speed by briefly pressing the LIGHT button or by turning the rear wheel 360 °. The last displayed limit will be saved after five seconds of inactivity.
Assembly
To connect the SpeedBox chip to the e-bike, we use colored connectors equipped with a key for correct connection, so installing the chip is really easy. We have written detailed instructions and recorded videos so that every customer can install the SpeedBox themselves. Dismantling the tuning chip is just as easy as installing it. If you have any problems with the connection, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are going to install the SpeedBox on a brand new bike, you need to ride it for at least 10 km before activating the chip for the first time.
